Langtang Tamang Heritage Trekking Langtang at present is the third popular trekking area in Nepal after Annapurna and the Everest region. This fabulous trek, a perfect combination of moderate and vigorous walk leading to the high alpine valley with the backdrop of high snow capped peaks. In the spring this place is alive with wild flowers. Become a pilgrim, and head to the shimmering lakes at Gosainkund. There you will find peace and serenity alongside the Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims. It is no wonder this area is sacred, affording views extending all the way to the Annapurnas. Cross Laurabina Pass, (4,615 m), adjoining the Gosainkund and Helambu regions. At this higher altitude, the terrain will transform to arid alpine above tree line and the villages will become sparser. We descend on steep mountain trails high above the valley. Culturally, Helambu is one of the most culturally wealthy regions in Nepal. Prominent to this region north of Kathmandu, are peoples of Tibetan origin. Langtang valley is situated directly north of Kathmandu in the Central Himalayan Region. This area was declared a National Park in 1976 and remains the second largest Park in Nepal, covering 1710 sq. km, mountainous terrain south of Nepal-Tibet (China) border. Day to Day Itinerary: Day 01: Arrive international airport in Kathmandu and free transport to selected hotel at Thamel, The hotel is centrally located in the Thamel area of Kathmandu, which is renowned for its many restaurants, shops, bars, and nightclubs etc which cater for the tourists. Day 02: Kathmandu Valley full day sightseeing with professional tour guide, Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru bensi 09 hours by local bus, overnight in guest house/ lodge. Day 04: Syabru besi trek to Gatlang (5 hrs) and overnight in Home stay or the community lodge built by the community. Day 05: Gatlang trek to Tatopani (Natural hot-spring) (6-7 hrs) and which have very good pond for bathing.over night in community lodge/ Home-stay house. Day 06: Tatopani trek to Thuman (6 hrs) and overnight in community lodge /local house or home-stay.
