Language is a very powerful entity to bring people together and unite them. Nepalese are people with different looks, some look like Chinese, some look like Koreans, some look like Thai, Malaysian, Filipinos, Indonesians, Japanese, Indians, Pakistanis, Bangladesh, some also look like Mongolians. They have several tribes in Nepal( the Gurungs, the Thapas, the Rai, the Limbu, the Pahari, the Lepchas...etc) and they have various different local languages. But one thing make nepalese one of the most United people is, they all speak, read and write one common language. When they meet abroad they put their differences and tribes aside come together as one people, to cater for each other. They stand shoulder to shoulder. They are brothers keepers. If you fight one nepalese you have fight all the Nepalese, they all unite and support to fight you. They always defend their people no matter what. This what we Africans we dont have. The Europeans stole away our heritage, our culture, our pride and our language. And left their language for us. They divided us with boundaries. Created tribalism among us, and self hatred. We dont have one common language we all can speak, read and write. We have one common identity, which is our dark skin color, but we lack unity, we hate each others, we are enemies to ourselves. Our leaders stand on the international platforms, well dressed in suit and tie (white man uniform) and proudly speaking big big english and French vocabularies. And they are very proud of themselves they are Africa leaders. Very pity if you dont know yourself. Africans will mock and make fun of their fellow Africans, if he or she makes mistakes in English language. Mean while we cant even write, read and speak our local languages very well. The true kings of the world and Mother Nature (the black people) have become the western followers. Lack of self identify, and self knowledge of ourselves is affecting we black people.
