Lansing musician friends, Please consider doing the Southwest Michigan Symphony audition in September. It is an orchestra that is deeply in need for some good string players especially violinists. They have a very accommodating schedule for out of town musicians: two rehearsals on Sunday, 4 day break, Friday night rehearsal, free housing Friday night, and then Saturday one rehearsal and concert. The schedule reduces the number of trips from Lansing to 2 trips. Their per-service rates are $81.90 Principal; $70.88 Assistant; and $63 Section, plus travel and per diem.
