Lanslide occured at sitio Cagang Polahongon Mahaplag Leyte..said incident 1 house erected along the highway was covered/buried by landslide. House was owned and occupied by Mr.Edilberto Dedal and Lolita Dedal husband and wife respectively and their 3 children namely Edilberto Dedal Jr Grade V111, Jonel Dedal Grade V11 and Emily Dedal Grade 1V. Among the 5 occupants who were all sleeping inside their house during the incident, only Edilberto Dedal Jr survive while the other four were all buriedby mud. As of this time,all lifeless bodies were recovered by joint rescuers Mahaplag PNP,Mahaplag BFP,Brgy.Officials,52nd Infantry Batallion and the Relatives and Neighborhood of the Victims.
