Larry and I spent the entire day assisting with the building of Rosys new home. You may recall, we were first on the scene after a fire burned out her trailer leaving Grandma Rosy and her 5 little grands without a home. Since then, weve gotten $ donations, lots of clothes, food, etc. and a team from Washington (Baja Christian Ministries) was on scene today to build Rosy an $8,000. home. A local clown group entertained the children with a pinata, games, toys and candy. Despite it being the hottest day of the year, by 1:00 the home was done and the roof was on. By 2:00, the drywall mud/tape was complete inside. At 4:00, everyone held hands as we surrounded the home. Blessings and prayers were said and numerous welcome home gifts were presented to Rosy...along with a new set of keys. What an awesome day!!!
