Lassie....is that you? Wonderful story of an Alaskan dog who leads a state trooper down winding rural roads to bring help. I grew up in a rural area, and it can be tricky getting rescue vehicles to find your location. Often you do send someone to wait at the end of the lane. Kudos to the state trooper, who listened to his instincts and correctly read and trusted the dogs actions as leading him to help and rescue. (Notice how the dog slows down, looks back now and then, to make sure the trooper is following.)
