Last August 18, 2014, Monday, while I was eating lunch, I heard my cell phone ringing. It was my friend calling. After talking to my friend, I put my phone on my table and continually eating. Accidentally, my glass of water spilled and my cell phone got wet. OMG, I went into panic. I really dont know what to do, I turned off my phone and cleaned it with a tissue paper. After a minute I turned it ON. Yes, it worked, thanks. :) But while I was using the phone, I noticed the battery got empty very fast, 80% battery running back to 40% in only a minute. Thus, I tried to use my charger & only to find out that it was not working..tsk...tsk..tsk... i was thinking my phone was damaged by water. I was really bothered & didt have peace of mind, So I decided to use my lifeline, my brother who is in Dubai, I talked to him thru Viber, I asked Kuya Bong if it is OK to send him my cellphone and have it fixed in Dubai, use the 1year phone warranty. Of course it was OK for him. But before that he suggested to put my phone in a ziplock-bag with RICE. Because rice can absorb the moisture. He also advised that I consult the YouTube about my problem. When i went home that afternoon, i bought 2 kilos of rice. I watched the YouTube and I followed the instructions. I removed the battery and I put my phone & battery inside in the ziplock-bag with rice for 3 days. I was still worried what will happen to my cellphone. Then I decided to use my extra phone may i have, Back to iPhone again. Hehehe... Just today, Friday 7:00am after my Jogging, I was so excited to see again my cellphone. I opened the ziplock-bag, I picked my battery & phone inside the rice, Of course i cleaned first the battery & phone. Honestly, before I turned back ON my cellphone. I prayed to God about it. Hehehe... I was very very HAPPY my cellphone is functioning again, Yeheeey! Hahahaha.... Thank you kuya bong for your suggestion, Thank you YouTube for the advice... PRAISE GOD! Friends, based on my experience if you encounter a problem about Phone Damaged by water. I suggest RICE can help, watch YouTube for more details. Finally, back to SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 3 again, but I still love my iPhone. Hehehe...
