Last Day To Enroll In ObamaCare, Website Down The last day to enroll in ObamaCare and ‘healthcare.gov’ is down. And mind you, it didn’t crash because of a mad stampede to signup. No, the site was down for scheduled maintenance(!) Seriously? They couldn’t wait one more day to try and fix what they couldn’t make work in the last 3 years. After today they’d have months to diddle with the code. Read about it: I suspect that the techs who pulled the plug realized that there was no mad rush, no traffic spike. From their perspective it didn’t matter if they took it down today or waited until tomorrow. The only signups they’ve had in the last few months have been journalists testing the system. I don’t know where these news organizations always manage to find someone on the staff willing to try signing up. I mean, doesn’t everyone at ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, FoxNews, PBS, etc. already have health insurance? Hell, I would cringe just typing the url in a post, let alone entering it on my browser and hitting ‘Enter’. To me, it just seems like deliberately visiting a known malware site with your anti-virus app turned off.
