Last Dinner update: Never let it be said that I cant finish my plate! The DG Bar Crew headed out for one final dinner before leaving Chicago and heading back to California. I started dinner with an incredible French onion soup with red and yellow onions and gruyere cheese. After polishing off the bowl, I ate an entire pork chop served with homemade apple sauce (so tender!). The side dish nearly outshined the chop though - Parmesan Au Gratin Potatoes. Creamy, cheesy and just the right amount of parmesan, I ate the whole bowl of potatoes to the last bite. After such a great meal, I couldnt pass up dessert. The flourless Chocolate Gateau with fresh strawberries and warm ganache sauce called my name. I answered and that taste won the night for me. Some might wonder where all the food goes......Caitlin Hamar suggested I needed a Strongid treatment if I could eat that much food without bursting! HA! What can I say? I enjoy my dinners with such great company :-) Thanks DG Bar Ranch for such a wonderful week!
