Last Monday Steve and I went to his post op surgery appointment. They are so so pleased with his progress, it is quite amazing. We did find out why he was in so much pain, in 07 he had L5 S1 fused, while they were in there fusing L4 L5 they took out the hardware from the L5 S1 fusion and they found that 1 of the screws was pressing on a nerve, which probably accounted for 85/90% of his pain. They would never have known that if he didnt need this other fusion. It explains so much as to why he was in so much pain and why after surgery he felt so good! He is walking about 1.5 miles a day and is feeling really good! I could not be happier, it is so nice to see him feeling good. It was so long since I had seen him laugh or smile.
