Last Nights Drumming Circle - Small & Powerful We had our Friday night Drumming Circle last night. It was a small circle, but as you may know its not the number of people present that make a Drumming Circle wondrous, its the willingness of those present to be in the moment, to find and experience their personal sound, beat, vibration and allow the energy to flow freely. While I always enjoy the drumming as a spectator, last night I participated in the Drumming Circle and can now tell you from first hand experience that it is truly joyous, healing and liberating. I wont lie to you, I felt anxious, unsure, but took a deep breath and put into practice what I tell everyone, Relax and Try, theres no judgment here, only a welcoming and supportive environment. So I put my nervous and anxiety to the side and joined the circle. I was tired when we started, but after an hour of actively drumming I was refreshed, my tension was gone and I felt content. All the stress from the day had melted away. Every beat of the drum helped in the release process. I had a great nights sleep afterwards.
