Last Saturday’s East of England Well-Being Show went really well! BLFs Julie Hodder was joined by four members of Breathe Easy Cambridge, David (Chair) and Julia, Julie (Treasurer) and Brian, and throughout the day they held a stand offering spirometry testing as well as information about the BLF and the work we do. Matthew Rutter, Senior Respiratory Physiologist at Addenbrookes, spent the day carrying out the spirometry testing and the stand was also visited by Dr Robert Winter, Consultant Physician at Addenbrookes - he even agreed to attend a future BE Cambridge meeting! Throughout the day, the guys dealt with many different enquiries, ranging from questions about support available through the BLF and Breathe Easy groups to asbestos, smoking cessation and breathlessness. Well done team!
