Last Sunday (4 January), Aurora returned to the Factor X stage to debut their new song, Moda da Morena https://youtube/watch?v=ZR5-zjxOXQA Ive got to say I really loved it. Its really fresh and unique, with a very distinct sound and rhythm. I understand the reason why its so different from anything else Ive listened to is because its a homage to Cante Alentejano, traditional folk chanting which has been listed as intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. Still, their revamping of this traditional chanting is nothing short of extraordinary. And they look stunning. Loving the preppy style and the new haircuts. It appears its being really well received, and I personally reckon itd have been wise to jump on the occasion to release it as the first official single (you know, for sale), but I guess thats up to their management.
