Last adventure xRace of the season was in Ērgļi – city of magnificent sceneries and rather big hills for the scale of Latvia. This time Accenture had 3 teams, two of which were participating in Sports Class. As this was the last adventure race of the season organizers didn’t give the mass start, but it was interval start so that each team would have its own starting time. Race took the participants from Ērgļi city center to small lake, where was the boat part. All of the participants wished to stay dry, but none succeeded, some even had their feet until knees in the water. The race also took participants deep into forests and to one of Latvia’s famous writer’s houses – Braku mājas, where lived Rūdolfs Blaumanis. Not to make the race as excursion true adventurers had not only to get up the highest hills, but also get wet in muddy swamps. The race culminated around 20:00, when whole Ērgļi city center was swarming with the participants to take the last checkpoints before the dark. It was a wonderful and challenging season, so all Accenture Latvia teams can say big “Thank you” to xRace organizers.
