Last call! Use your extra hour today to nominate yourself, or a friend. This is a reminder that nominations for our 2015 Board of Directors are due by 5 PM this coming Sunday, November 2. You can email info (at) philadelphiafreedomband dot com with your selections. Things to remember: There are 7 Board Positions. All positions are voted on every year. Current board members are eligible for nomination. When we vote, the 7 people who receive the most votes will make up the 2015 Board. That group will work together to decide which Board member will serve in each role. The standard roles are: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Board Member At Large (3). The Artistic Director always serves as the 8th, ex officio, member. Nominate anyone you think would represent the best interests of the band as a whole. All nominated members will be asked to confirm their willingness to run, so dont be stingy with your nominations. Feel free to nominate yourself!
