Last chance for Standard Bank Women of Excellence nominations With just five days to go before the closing of nominations for the Namibian Women of Excellence initiative. We encourage everyone to make the last effort to nominate outstanding women from your respective communities for the 2014 Women of Excellence Award. So many women are contributing to the upliftment of the poor and the needy, but sadly, their dedication and unselfish commitment to the community goes unnoticed to the nation. Two Namibian Woman of Excellence, who have excelled in contributing where specific communities most need their unconditional support, will be financially rewarded by Standard Bank. There are two categories: Category A: Women who have contributed either directly or indirectly to the less privileged. § Donations – financially or otherwise, eg food, blankets etc § Paying school fees for children Category B: Women who without financial means, in the spirit of generosity and humaneness, without reward, sacrifice their time and strength to reach out to those in need of their charity (Women should sacrifice their own time and effort) § shelter (creating a home) § feeding § free medical treatment § education § to uplift the community § creating community projects The search is about an unselfish contribution these women have made to the community.
