Last day in Singapore! Were all packed up and off to sleep for 3 hours before the 21 hours of flight time home. Today we took a trip to the southernmost point of continental Asia, tasted the South China Sea, Emma ate ridiculously cute quail eggs, & we saw the largest rice aisle ever to exist. We also hung out at the beach and got a little sunburnt, Emma captained a ship, we visited our favorite candy store one last time, and ate lunch at one of New York Times top 10 restaurants of 2010 (still good in 2014). We topped the day off with a visit to Chinatown, fresh fruit juice from our favorite Hawker Center and real Japanese Ramen Noodles! We stalled from packing and watched a movie; then decided to accept the fact that we should pack. Please pray for a safe trip home for us and that Libby and Darin dont miss us too much! :) (Kathy Houlihan Voelker)
