Last day of the gratefulness challenge: 1. I am grateful for my hubbys bannock-making skills. I maintain that his bannock is THE BEST, hands down! Anyone who receives it knows that he has given of himself and if you are lucky enough to receive it, you know he considers you loved...his way of showing you he cares :) 2. I am grateful that circumstances and events changed my career so drastically many years ago that I thought my heart would never recover. Saddest and scariest thing EVER! I soon came to realize that it was the best thing that ever happened, and it was from that point on I met all the people in my life that matter the most (other than my family). The secondary part of this post......fast forward 12 years to when I made the huge decision to by-pass a very decent regular paycheck to venture out in my own business. Even scarier! I have never looked back, and thank God that everything fell into place exactly as meant to be. and finally..... 3. I am SO grateful for my close circle of friends! You each contribute to such a huge part of my days- each one as important as the next to weave the blanket of my life as only you all could! As a girl who had real trouble making friends as a kid, I cherish the fact that, for whatever reason, you have all chosen me and continue to count me as part of your already busy lives! You are TREASURES. Thanks for being my buddies- I look forward to writing many more chapters of our unending saga! I now nominate any of you out there who hasnt been nominated.....give yourself a reward...I dare ya! This has truly been a thought-provoking exercise for the last 5 days! I could go on and on daily with new things to be grateful for, as we all should I think. If nothing else its been an exercise in positivity for those that think Facebook is full of nothing but negative. Sure, a little sappy, but hey, doesnt it beat the alternative?
