Last minute reflection I went to a funeral today. He was of one - TopicsExpress

Last minute reflection I went to a funeral today. He was of one of the finest people I know. Many wonderful things were said of him that I did or did not know. All I know is that he was a great friend to me. He was always there when I needed help, he led others by example and understood that you were human and made mistakes. He was a war veteran, a former mayor, a judge, and many other things, but still he was my friend. I was at the graveside service. I walked by the peach tree and the waterfall which soothed our spirits a little. I even caught someone who fell over the tent line. Later we showed back up at the church to see the family members come out from the dinner that was served them in the auditorium. As they were coming out, I saw a big yellow dragonfly making loopy loops and dipping its wings from side to side in the parking lot. I know that was you. We both use to fly planes and I know what that means. Thank you Sir. I will miss you. (James Clement, age 83)
