Last month of school stressing you out? Why not unwind a bit with McMaster Engineering Pumpkin Chuckin Club! Here is a preliminary schedule for the coming weeks leading up to our final day of the season. Sunday March 9 (275 Bowman): We are adding our axle and arm to our brand new yet to be named trebuchet. Wednesday March 12 (HSL- meet by front desk): Brainstorming session for sling design, also time to suggest paint colours. I want turquoise, red and black but you know whatever. If anyone wants to get artistic this could be an opportunity. Summarize design for competition trebuchet and list what needs to be worked on for final design. Sunday March 16 (275 Bowman): Implement new sling designs! Wednesday March 19th (HSL): Voting for secretary position- all interested in this position is asked to please attend or notify us otherwise and position will be selected in the meeting. Work towards finalizing competition design and make estimates for the costs (this will be helpful for asking for funding in the future). Sunday March 23rd (275 Bowman): First coat of paint to be applied. This leaves us a weekend and a design meeting to fiddle with what is left to work on. Cheers! Hope to see you out!
