Last night Barack Obama gave his most dishonest speech yet..and thats saying a lot. The world is safer, he says--as if the reality of growing global dangers he has mishandled or ignored didnt exist. He actually said with a straight face that his policies have saved the economy--even, astoundingly, taking credit for lower gas prices. We all should live by the rules, he said--as if he hasnt trampled every Constitutional restriction. One could almost hear teeth grinding when the man whos waged constant war on half the nation claimed hes always been above partisanship. Shakespeare described last nights speech perfectly: It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. -SBC
