Last night Bonnie and I were driving through downtown on our way to do some shopping. A homeless man crossed our path with 2 shopping carts, carrying all his worldly belongings. That was the second time I saw him this week. It played on my mind so much during the night. This morning I gathered an unused winter coat from our closet and stopped at Tim Hortons and got a gift card. Stepping completely out of my comfort zone, I spent just under 2 hours walking around downtown until I came upon him. Without saying a word, I passed him the coat and gift card, smiled and walked away. It doesnt matter what his story is...... He will be warm and fed for a little while. Happy RANDOM ACT OF KINDNESS DAY to one and all.
