Last night David told me about this page and the story behind it. Such a sad and scary thing. Poor James drowned 1 day after the arrival of his baby brother and as a result suffered brain damage. This video, of James playing peek a boo with his new baby brother (just 1 day before his life changed forever) is proof that life can change in an instant. Were no guaranteed a tomorrow, so make the most of today. Our kids can get hurt in ways that change the person they once were or they can fight for their lives. We never know and for that, we should always hug our kids and let then know how much we love them. I was not prepared for the years that ran down my face while watching what just appears to be a video of a loving big brother, but knowing what followed and that he is no longer that same boy is just heartbreaking.
