Last night I dreamed I was at a tiki-themed nightclub called Monsoon. As you entered, they supplied zip-lock baggies into which you could put your wallet, cell phone and/or anything else you wanted to keep dry. The entire ceiling was plumbed with sprinkler pipes and there were huge fans and big fake palm trees to simulate being in a warm tropical rainstorm. The bar area and the snack bar were covered by Gilligans Island-style thatched roofs so the rain wouldnt get your food and drinks wet, but the dance floor was open to the storm and you also had to get completely soaked to get from the door to the covered bar areas. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves. If such a place existed, would you go?
