Last night I had the privilege and honor of participating in one and witnessing another honor ceremony for two very special and deserving men. First, I was able to participate in the ceremony bestowing the Degree of Chevalier to Nate Singer. He is the first of my boys to earn this honor and I am very proud of him. He is the first Chevalier for our DeMolay chapter since a couple of knuckleheads, Barry L. Holland and myself were honored with the same degree 30 years ago. I hope when he hits it big on Broadway or in Hollywood, he remembers that I helped give him this honor. ;) Second, I was honored to witness Dave Trobaugh receive the highest honor DeMolay can bestow, the Legion of Honor. My Dad was an LOH and I have known Dave for almost 35 years now. He still gives me grief the same way he did when I was 14, and I try to learn from him every day.
