Last night I had the privilege of meeting two of the first responders from my accident. They shared some of their account and I was glad for the chance to thank them. Something I didnt realize was what exactly was meant by my leg being found in a tree. Mr. Bumpus shared this photo with me, showing just how high in the tree it was. He said it was about 40 feet up and around 30 yards from the accident. The tree had to be cut down to retrieve my leg. Thanks to these guys and all the others that worked so hard to keep me alive.
