Last night I read Hosea, again. It is abundantly clear that the blindness over us has not only been allowed by YHVH, it came from Him. He made it clear many times in Torah, that IF we would obey Him, we would be blessed and protected, and He spells out what that means very clearly. He also, very clearly promises that if we dont obey Him, there would be curses, which again He very clearly spells out. if you havent read it, I encourage you to do so. Debarim/Deuteronomy 28 Because the Northern Tribes, called the House of Israel or Ephrayim in Hosea, chose NOT to obey, but rather erect their idols and bow to Baal & mix and mingle, He tells what would happen. It is YHVH that caused the blindness, the loss of identity, the ignorance of His Ways and His Moedim. Hos 2:6 “Therefore, see, I am hedging up your way with thorns, and I shall wall her in, so that she does not find her paths. It is in realizing this, that we need to fall on our faces before Him and thank Him that He has awakened us, and removed the scales from our eyes. He did so, so that we might be free from the curses and walk in His light. For whatever reason, He has chosen to awaken some before others, and if you are blessed to be one of those, WALK IN THE LIGHT!!!! He didnt call us to compromise and or keep silent about it or condemn those who cant or dont see it yet. What we DO need to do, is be diligent to walk in His Ways and not ever bend the knee again to idols, or get lured back in to winking at or participating in the syncretism that IS Christianity!! It IS creeping back in, people, and we MUST be vigilant. He woke us up, but it is up to us, to not go back to sleep again!! Compromise does not work, it only weakens. We need to TRUST that by walking in His right rulings, without compromise, that He WILL convict those that need to see. We cant do it by compromise and we cant do it by condemning. ONLY YHVH can awaken and remove the scales. What we MUST do is to walk in the obedience that He requires, in the fruit of His Ruach/Spirit!! Hos 6:1 ‘Come, and let us turn back to יהוה. For He has torn but He does heal us, He has stricken but He binds us up. Hos 12:6 Therefore, return to your Elohim. Guard kindness and right-ruling, and wait on your Elohim continually. Hos 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap according to kindness, break up your tillable ground, it is time to seek יהוה, till He comes and rains/teaches righteousness on you. Hos 10:13 You have ploughed wrongness, you have reaped unrighteousness, you have eaten the fruit of lying, because you trusted in your own way, in your many mighty men. Deu 30:1 “And it shall be, when all these words come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you, and you shall bring them back to your heart among all the gentiles where יהוה your Elohim drives you, Deu 30:2 and shall turn back to יהוה your Elohim and obey His voice, according to all that I command you today, with all your heart and with all your being, you and your children, Deu 30:3 then יהוה your Elohim shall turn back your captivity, and shall have compassion on you, and He shall turn back and gather you from all the peoples where יהוה your Elohim has scattered you.
