Last night I stopped by the Blue Bird for some pizza. Fran Leidy is turning the former bar into a gourmet pizzeria. She was making some pizzas and OMFG. They are soooo good. The Sicilian, in particular, is out of this world. The crust, well, I could sing a song about that crust (but you dont want me to). She still has a while before she opens, but believe me, its going to become the place to go for pizza in San Leandro.
