Last night, I was extremely tired and exhausted. I was reading articles about Angelina Jolie and Audrey Hepburn heavy with photos. After I put down the phone, I went to the bathroom. As I looked up at the mirror, things began to blur and blend, and for an instant I saw a blend of Angelina and Audrey in my own face. I had to blink and shake my head a few times to remember that it was just me, my face. (When my parents watched the Audrey Hepburn film Two For The Road, my mother said that if she ever had a girl, the name would come from Audreys character Joanna. When I was born, there wasnt much time to think, so that was my name. As I was growing up, I looked suspiciously like Hepburn, particularly with that jawline and those cheekbones. Ive been told I have cheekbones similar to Jolies. This was most likely why the mirror showed me that mix.) Anyway, I do and have always seen Angelina and Aubrey as two of the most beautiful humans on the planet. I have a specific fascination with Jolies engagement ring and Hepburns hands and with both their lips. I have a fascinated obsession with engagement rings and red lipstick in general. One of my favorite things is to see non-white-diamond or non-diamond rings. Gemstones, black diamonds, patterns, I also love very deep red lipcolors that have light brown and pink undertones. Nothing bright. I adored whatever they used for fresh blood on vampires mouths in the Underworld film series. Right now I am in lust with It Aveda Nourish-Mint Lipstick in Cherrybud, Aveda Uruku Pigment Lipstick in Maracuja, It Cosmetics Vitality Lipstain Gloss in Inspiring Red, and BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Call The Shots. Im also loving Revlon Lip Butter in Red Velvet and Covergirl Perfection Lipstick in Seduce. I imagine any of those shades on Angelina or Aubrey. End rambling.
