Last night, I was honored to receive the nomination of the 43rd District Democrats for appointment as your next State Representative. It’s been a great pleasure to share my vision with the PCOs of the 43rd, and to hear your perspectives on the issues facing our district. I am grateful to have gotten the chance to connect with each of you. I left our meeting feeling inspired. We were fortunate to have three passionate and progressive candidates, and equally fortunate to have 160 PCOs who braved the cold to make an important choice for the future of our community. Our wide-ranging discussion reflected the progressive values of our district, and affirmed my commitment to move those values into the mainstream in Olympia.
