Last night I watched the Thirty Seconds to Mars documentary Artifact. Its pretty much an insight into what a ripoff the record label system is and how they were being sued for 30 million bucks by a major label just because the band realized that they were massively being cheated and stolen from and didnt want to stay quiet about it. There was a little bit in there about how independent musicians and the crowd funding method is really becoming the new model on how to release and produce music without falling victim to a broken system. It really made me feel grateful to have been lucky enough to have developed such a close and professional bond with all of the people who enjoy my music. It gave me a big boost of inspiration to just get off of my butt and start putting more stuff out there. And create it with and through you all thanks to the amazing support and passion you have all shown me over the past 6 years. Im not going to bullshit you all and put any dates or hollow promises up in the near future but I want you to know that Im READY and hungry to create some more stuff. Both for Projected Twin and my other collaborative band Solar Soma. Brain storm!
