What a joyous day.. Not.. after over a month and a half of waiting on parts and fighting water moving filters and components back and forth between fields. I traveld 3 hours round trip to get a filter housing I needed so that I could water two fields at the same time. I get a message on the way home that my filter would be in early tomorrow. Oh joy I now have one and dont need it. Get home and start setting up so I can water here at the house which was watered saturday night and sunday to find that 90% of the two acres here the plants are toast. Guess the long weekend and every day over 100 was to much for them especially with yesterdays 104. So pretty much any hope for a profitable year is shot. Im pooring water on as fast as I can in hopes of salvaging something and praying the other field which was watered sunday night and yesterday is ok so we can hope for break even again this year.. wonder if the ag company that couldnt order my parts in a timely fassion will take them back along with the filter I didnt use and all the drip tape and fittings that are now useless. .
