Last night I went to bed thinking I was okay with our Holly - TopicsExpress

Last night I went to bed thinking I was okay with our Holly crossing the Rainbow Bridge however the tears started before I even got out of bed. She was that dog who would lay next to you when you were sick (not on the floor next to the bed but next to you almost on top of you) until you were better. She would rip the covers off the kids when it was time to get up for school and cover them with kisses. She would cry "Mom" when she wanted to "goh goh goh" and rode with me in the car just about every morning to take kids to school & make little whimpers as they walked into school knowing full well they would be home in a few hours. She expected the first & last bite of ANY drive thru meal & would shame you with her soul filled eyes if you didnt meet her expectations. She had a very dramatic way about her, if I came home too soon from taking the kids to school she would stay in the car and refuse to get out! Id just leave the door open so she could get out when she was done napping or pouting. She loved every child who came in this house as if they lived here. She was our protector for years when Craig was traveling for days, weeks & months at a time. We were homesick for her when were on vacations. She was our girl our mini mama. She was a dog that would position herself under a tree so she could see us from all angles while on the lawn mower. I can give you a million reasons why we loved her...Though the meter reader and postal people were not fond of her she was loved by many because of her character. I thought people were crazy when they would grieve for their animals, now I am right there with them. I have loved many of our pets but they were no Holly Noel there is and only will be one. Rest our sweet girl.
