Last night I went to campaign at Teluk Intan. I was assigned to speak at three ceramahs but only the one at Medan Selera can be held due to heavy rain yesterday. When I arrived at Medan Selera, I was quite moved to see the residents under the rain with their umbrellas waiting for us to start the speeches. I wore rain coat and rolled up my long pants and looked like an aunty or ah soh who got caught in the rain when I went up to the stage. It looked funny, but I felt good to dress up like the audience who came for the ceramah. Ha ha!! I spoke to the crowd about the protest and samseng threat to burn down DAP HQ and I linked it to the inaction of police to all the rascals who threatened to slap me with reward of RM1200. I also spoke to them about the importance to vote for Dyana to break racialism of UMNO BN. I praised Dyana for her courage to join DAP and speaking up as these are the qualities of the young leaders that we want. After the ceramah, I went for Teluk Intans famous chee cheong fun. One of those who was at the ceremah came to the shop, saw me and paid for my dinner. According to him, the Chinese business people in Teluk Intan will support Mah Siew Keong. They were spreading words and campaigning very hard for Mah. For those who support DAP, please work harder. Tell your friends in TI to support Dyana and be volunteers on polling day. Last but not least, encourage those working outside TI to go back to vote. :-)
