Last night Jamison stood up on his own.. holding nothing, and took 3 steps, fell down, stood back up, and started stepping again. I was so happy and so shocked at the same time that I just cried. Crawling is usually associated with the baby stages. So, I cried because even though I knew Jamison was growing up insanely quick, hitting tones of milestones, as long as he was crawling I could still pretend like toddler-hood wasnt right around the corner. He is still my baby. Then he walks in front of my own eyes, and I just lost it. My head just spins the entire past years memories and it hits me like a ton of bricks that my baby is turning a year old in a month. Holy crap, this is just too much for me. He says mama, dada, doggy, pretty, bampa, naughty, and other things when he feels like it. He knows commands like want some, water, bubba, ball, throw it, get your car, hide and seek, peekaboo, clap, dance, sing your song, hi and bye, and many others. Setting aside feeling over powered by time, becoming a Mom is the best thing that ever happened to me. I am so fortunate for every single day with my family. I love you Jamison Scott Clark
