Last night a solid 16 months of work came together and I achieved - TopicsExpress

Last night a solid 16 months of work came together and I achieved something new to me in my bodybuilding career, my first overall victory at a competition. The 2014 Montari Bros Powerhouse Classic. There are some people that need to be thanked here for a variety of reasons. First off I need to thank the love of my life, Jamie. Not only has she put up with my crazy mental state on a day-to-day basis, but she has been another set of eyes, instrumental in making sure that all aspects of my prep are coming together properly . If something looks off. shes the first one to say something about it. Without her watchful eye and correspondence with Shelby, I may not have pulled things together for finals last night. Thank you for everything Baby. Without you I certainly would not be the person or the bodybuilder I am today. I love you so much! Next we have Shelby Starnes, the mastermind behind my nutrition for the past couple of years. The final week was a bit of a learning experience, we tried something new in anticipation of upcoming Jr USAs and it didnt work out so well. I didnt look my best for prejudging, but thankfully we were able to make some adjustments as the day went on and I was able to dry out and look much better by the time the evening finals came around. Without Shelbys guidance, I have no doubt that I wouldnt have made the progress that I have to this point and I trust him to the point that I wouldnt ever want anyone else handling my prep. He has been an inspiration as well as a mentor and amazing friend. Thank you for everything Shelby. My posing coach Kenny Wallach is next. Even with his crazy schedule he has made time for me throughout my prep, and is another person that has helped dramatically change my look, although through another means. He has combined an artistic eye with his lifelong passion for bodybuilding and shows that there is more to bodybuilding than dieting, training, and supplementing if you want to be your best. Thank you Kenny, Im proud to call you a friend and a coach. There are a ton of other people that I need to thank, it would take forever to list them out one by one. My mother, Laura Falcetti. All of my friends and co-workers at Energy Fitness in Torrington. I especially need to thank the Montanari Brothers Powerhouse Gym - Super Gym. The Montanari Bros are family to me, and their gym is a second home. Without them, there would be no bodybuilding scene in CT. I would also like to thank all of my friends, family, clients, and other supporters that came to New Haven yesterday. I had one hell of a cheering section and I cant thank you guys enough! So whether you are listed here or not, thanks to each any every person that has a hand or heart in my life. I love you guys! Now its off to Jr USA. 7 weeks out!
