Last night, like a dumb ass, I forgot my wallet in the shopping cart I was using at the Rhode Island Mall Walmart. It had about $500 in cash in it because I hadnt made it to the bank, along with the other typical personal wallet contents (license, debit cards, etc...) I hadnt realized I left my wallet behind until I had gotten to Stop and Shop at which point I obviously RACED back to Walmart only to find that the carriages had already been collected from the corrals! I thought for sure all hope was lost at that point! But when Kerrie went inside to the customer service desk there was my wallet sitting there on the counter..UNTOUCHED! All the cash and everything STILL there! I asked the person at the counter who turned it in and he said the cart pusher, so I asked for the store manager who then in turn found the cart pusher for me. This 20 year old young guy comes walking up..I said did you find my wallet he just looks at me so innocent like and just nodded, I told him how awesome he was, and what a great job his mom/dad did in raising him! Unfortunately Walmart wouldnt allow me to reward him, whose name by the way is Scott! But I dont believe he would have taken the reward anyway! I will find a way to pay it forward because of this young man! So if you are ever at the Walmart at the Rhode Island mall, and you see someone pushing the carts, ask if his name is Scott, if it is take a quick second to tell him how awesome he is because chances are Im not the only one that this young man has been honest for!
