Last night my son Adam was given the privilege to share his experience that Make-A-Wish blessed him with this past July. It is very important to Adam & our family to pay it forward with MAW in order to help raise money for other children facing life threatening conditions. Last night was special to Adam for a number of reasons, but I personally was overwhelmed when those I used to care for in my old normal life came out to financially support the dream of a child they will never meet, will never know the story behind or future of...all because Adams story has had an impact on their lives & in return they wanted to help Make-A-Wish make a dream come true for another child. In my opinion the next best thing to curing childhood cancer or any disease that is harming a child is to bring joy, laughter, & hope to a child & their family- & that is exactly what Make-A-Wish does. Although my heart has been broken in a million pieces for a long time now, I am learning that the best way to heal is to pay it forward. Adam & our family are looking forward to working with all those who keep this organization moving forward. Thank you all again & from our family to yours- anyone can be calm, calm is boring. Get excited & help grant a wish!
