So, most of you know Im a fair weather football fan - I really only watch whatever game is on whenever I happen to be in the mood . . . that being said, with regard to college ball, I always root for the WSU Cougars (even when statistics would advise against it) - Go Cougs! With regard to pro ball/NFL I get hyped and excited for play-offs and the Superbowl game, but all my Superbowl hype is mostly for the halftime commercials and music performances. Sad, but true. When it comes to the actual football: I root for either the under-dog or the regional team - whichever team that may be. In my younger years and as of late, Ive been a Green Bay Packers fan (with the Seahawks as my regional preference). My hunny is a die hard Chicago Bears fan. (Some how, hes still able to love me. Hahaha!) This weekend, I decided to switch sides. For the love of my hunny, I figured it didnt matter much to me what team I root for because Im a fair weather football spectator anyway. Unfortunately, or fortunately, he takes his football a little more serious: Ive been dismissed from hanging out on Sundays. I need some football tutorials, I need a football watching crew to help me find a love for the game. FYI: I root for the Portland Trail Blazers during basketball season (my nice Palomas influence) and for baseball, I root for the Mariners (regional choice) and the Dodgers (influenced by my nephew Joaquin).
