Last night there was a lot fun had celebrating 2 milestones for one man. Last night marked Otto Thecomics 25th year of being sober and his triumph over Cancer. This is a guy who got handed his life sentence by the doctors and when they wanted to radiate and pump him full of poison he said no thanks and proceeded to fight the good fight on his own with a simple diet. He is an inspiration to the many of us who know him and love him for being the pure guy that he is. Ive never heard anyone say a bad thing about him simply because there isnt anything negative anyone could say. He inspires me to carry on and fight my own fight with my disease. They arent the same but you understand. I just believe that when you are handed that life sentence by the folks in white coats youve got two options. You can sit and sulk or you can step up and succeed! So Otto, I know I havent known you long, but you are an inspiration to myself and everyone else whose lives youve touched with your constant smile, positive and good vibes and general out look on life. We love you my friend! Thank you for letting me be apart of such an amazing occasion and celebration!
