Last night was a fun night that ended on a negative note. Wherein I route for the Kentucky Wildcats, I was extremely excited for the young coach Kevin Ollie and UConn, Congratulations guys. .......After getting home I was summonsed to come to a particular site because one of our good guys, one who tries to give back to the community, was harassed and racially profiled by a Chicago police officer. This really ticks me off, because this young gentleman is one of our best and brightest, and he fights on the front line with me as a mentor to our youth. He truly didnt deserved all of the F Bombs that were thrown at him, nor should he ever been called the N word! ( On another note, it still bothers me that the make up of the Chicago Police department doesnt reflect the racial demographics of our city! No offense, but in a city that is majority colored, CPD is still lily white!!! What will it take to get brothers to take the Police exam?) SMH!!!
