Last night was round 8 at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Jack in the Box Summer Shootout Series. Carson was going for win #7 on the season and 4th in a row. Won his heat race but started in 7th in the feature due to the invert. Got to 3rd in about 3 laps. Big wreck behind him so had a long delay for cleanup. On the choose he chose outside got down to the inside on the restart behind the 87. Was really tight and couldnt get under the 87. Wound up 2nd. Good night overall and stretched out the points lead.
