Last night we got three calls we had cows out at Pioneer. We did not think they were ours but had to check. A man had been moving cows and the back gate came open. We helped the man , daughter and good neighbors get the two back into the trailer. It was dark. We had stopped on the side of the road and watched as he went up the hill meeting an oilfield truck half way up. The oilfield driver put his lights on bright but the farmer got around him safety. He stayed on his side of the road. The oilfield driver did not make it so well. He fell off into the ditch. He turned his truck and load on its side. We helped him out and tried to help him. He got out cussing the farmer for running him off and not stopping . We tried to explain the farmer was not over the center and had made it around him and down the road before he ran off the road. We tried to do the Christian thing and try to help while we as stupid farmers were being cussed out. He called some of his buddies and they all lite up cigarettes with a truck on its side leaking Gas. We hoped he was not hurt and tried to talk him in going in and being checked out because he was limping. He admitted putting his lights on bright and someone mentioned maybe if he had been watching the road instead he would still be on the road. This was only about 10 minutes after being called stupid farmers hundreds of times. May God heal his body, mind, and driving. It is a small world and we need to get along.
