Last night we hosted our quarterly International (French, this night) Dinner with our wonderful gourmand friends. First course, Jay and Shireen, duo of savory tarte tatins~carmelized onions, brie, thyme,potato, chives~butternut squash, asparagus, pourne dambert frommage~ on a salad of watercress and pears. Entree, Hector and Bob, Cassoulet. Dessert, Randy and Michelle, apples from the tree crepes with vanilla bean ice cream.
