Last night, we met at the throne, and through worship, - TopicsExpress

Last night, we met at the throne, and through worship, intercession, waiting on the Holy Spirit, we touch the Fathers heart. From 9pm to 4am, we waited, listened and touch the Fathers heart on behalf of the many requests that came to us. We prayed over all of them! Tonight, and through the night, why not join us for whatever time you can. Open your bible, put on some vertical worship music and lets have an encounter. Distance is not an issue when youre dealing with an omnipresent God. At the end of the day, well all say, Did not our hearts burn within us, while He spoke with us. If youre joining us, just let me know. I call it Hunger. Earlier tonight Kim Walker-Smith was exhorting us through these words: You are all I want, You are all I need, everything my heart could hope for, We are longing for the glory of the Lord, ‘cause we know there’s so much more. These words pressed me into a season of brokenness that reminded me of Hoseas statement concerning Jacob: Hosea 12:3 In the womb he took his brother by the heel, And in his maturity he contended with God. Hosea 12:4 Yes, he wrestled with the angel and prevailed; He wept and sought His favor. He found Him at Bethel And there He spoke with us, This seems to be almost a contradiction, which is often peculiar to kingdom insights. In infancy or childishness, we contend with our brother, but in maturity we contend with God, and that only takes place through brokenness. Consider the power of a broken heart as a tool for making known your hunger to the Father. Isaiah tells us; Isaiah 30:18 Therefore the LORD longs to be gracious to you, And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you. For the LORD is a God of justice; How blessed are all those who long for Him. Isaiah 30:19 O people in Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you. How hungry are you?
