Last night we visited the grand stand or the sports complex where more than 70,000 individual evacuees are staying. This is just one of many albeit smaller evacuation sites in the city. This morning I gave Corazon Juliano-Soliman a hug & told her, "I will give you & your team medals.". Sure things can be improved but try managing an evacuation camp with more than 70,000 evacuees! And like I said, there are many others! You have to be here & see things for yourself to appreciate the challenges! What Sec Dinky & her team face everyday is mind-boggling! Saludo ako sa mga DSWD, CSWD, at lahat ng volunteers at NGOs na tumutulong dito sa Zamboanga!
