Last nights Super Bowl was an exercise in why we play the game. With all the hype and thunder going into the game, you kinda wondered why the Seahawks would even need to show up. Everyone I talked to....every analyst who talked about the game....every sportscaster.....every body who loves the State of Colorado....had Denver taking home the trophy and the very expensive Super Bowl rings. Apparently no one told the Seattle Seahawks. They showed up...oblivious to all the Bronco hype....ready to not only play the game....but to WIN the game. They made that very clear just a few seconds into the game. I say that to remind us all that we should never take what others have to say about us as the truth. We should always dig deep inside of ourselves to understand what we are made of. Never rely on the opinions of others to affect your outlook on life. Its your life.....its your story....what are you going to do this week to write a winning chapter in your book?
