Last nights win vs the first place American League Wests Oakland As included many bright spots, and encouraging signs the Mets may finally be coming back to life and more competitive. Ex-As pitcher Bartolo Colon started and won the game for the Mets, he had the help of home runs from ex-Yankees Curtis Granderson, 2 home-runs from ex-As Chris Young, and returning from Triple AAA and first game back since late May, Travis dArnaud hit a blast of his own. This is now the 2nd consecutive game the Mets have scored double digit runs Hopefully this isnt a temporary fluke, hopefully this club is finally beginning to resurrect from the dead!
