Last time I posted about Rons condition he was doing pretty good for all he had been thru. Unfortunately he has declined, there is nothing more Drs at U of M can do for him. My cousin Gail and I met with Palitive(sp) care Wed I am so grateful she was along to help me thru this , very hard to hear. Hopefully he will be moved in the next couple of days to the other side of the state where it will be easier to be with him until the end. Ron is on comfort care, he has agreed to go off his antirejection meds along with all of the other meds as well I am so lucky to have the support of family and friends, I sure need it. We have worked so hard to keep Ron going with good quality of life. To abandon that thought and go towards the direction of helping him leave this world is almost unbearable. I knew this time would come eventually, I can tell you, you are never ready.
