Last time I was in New Zealand I was told by a taxi driver that I had an extremely strong Aussie accent. I asked about my mate and he said her accent was mild and again mentioned that mine was really strong. I think about this conversation constantly and have even tried recording my voice and playing it back so I can hear what I sound like. Haha. Obviously I dont hear an accent and I just sound like me. All my overseas peeps who have chatted with me during my travels abroad, does my accent come off really strong? It has me intrigued. Im feeling like the biggest bogan right now and starting to wonder if Julia Gillard and I are related.
